Chicken/Beef Meatballs with Char Siu Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 200 g minced chicken/beef
  • 100 g onion finely chopped
  • 20 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • oil for frying
  • DIPPING
  • 3 Tbsp Lee Kum Kee Char Siu Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium Dark Soy Sauce

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a small pan, add the onion and cook over a medium heat until just softened. Cool a little, then add the minced chicken with the Char Siu Sauce , breadcrumbs and ginger. Mix well, then shape into balls and set aside.
  • Heat enough oil to deep-fry and when hot, carefully lower chicken balls into the oil and cook until golden and crisp.
  • Mix together the dipping sauce and serve with the meatballs.
