Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant. Remove and set aside.
Add the king prawns to the pan, stirring occasionally. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until they turn pink and opaque.
Pour the sauce mix over the prawns, stir and toss to coat them evenly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly. Arrange on serving platter and sprinkle the garlic over.
